The full sensor of the camera is selected automatically but the AOI can be set to a number of predefined values.

Predefined AOIs can be selected using the AOI option in the application bar above the image.

Simply click the little triangle in the bottom right corner of this button or just right click anywhere on it to show the list of AOIs.

Select from the values in the list to apply this AOI to the camera sensor. AOI are centred within the sensor.
