Protocol
Available Options:
Use Strict Nyquist Calculation in Confocal Mode
Use a strict Nyquist calculation in confocal mode rather than a relaxed formula in confocal mode. This places a higher processing demand on the PC and results in more Z-planes being captured, so may not be suitable for light-sensitive samples.
Default: Off
Show Nyquist Sampling criteria problem notifications
Show Nyquist sampling criteria Problem Notifications when voxel resolution is less than optimal for a selected objective.
Default: Off
Wait for protocol to finish before running Deconvolution
Deconvolution processing time is increased, but increases stability especially when processing large files.
Warn if any MultiPosition fields overlap
Will show warning if any Multi-Position fields added to the protocol are overlapping.
Default: On
Maximum Size of Frame Write Queue
Define the maximum length of the frame write queue, increasing this may consume more memory but can improve regularity of frame timestamps in some circumstances. For example, regularity is improved when acquiring a deep z stack at high speed.
Note that some changes made in preferences will not take effect until the application has been restarted.
