This new release of Fusion introduces Multiple Irregular Montage.


New Features- Included on Core Fusion 2.8


Large Montage Support

  •  Allow up to 40,000 fields to be acquired in the same protocol.

  •  Multi-image view mode can be used to view all fields in large montages ( up to 40 000 fields) 


Focus Stabilisation

  • Faster Focus Seek and Lock Algorithm  

  • Faster progressive scan for Find Coverslip 

  • Ability to allow user to set Focus Stabilisation time interval ( from 1 min up to 30 min) 

  • Option to always execute Focus Stabilisation when moving to a new position within a protocol. 

  • Focus Stabilisation timing checks customised for each protocol type to provide more consistent stabilisation.   

   

Overlay Manager

  • Possible to change the colour of any region.  

  • Option to show/hide labels and colour options on overlays.  

  • Possible to bring any overlay to the front via the Region Manager panel.  

  • Possible to copy regions from the Region Manager. 

  • Possible to delete regions from the Region Manager. 


 Image Display

  • Updated Imaris Rendering library to version 10.2.1.0) 

  • Rendering parameters aligned with Imaris application. 

  • Automatically update the current rendering parameters to provide: 

    • higher quality / lower performance when the user is not interacting with the 3D volume,  

    • and lower quality / higher performance when the user is interacting with the 3D volume. 

  •  Improved Default Contrast settings (Auto-Mapping)  


Other Improvements                         

  • Possible to open a single file, a single montage and a full data set. 

  • Possible to add a name identifier of the position in a multi-position protocol: 

    • In file manager – preferences 

    • Set up as default  

  • Current Coverslip position is reset when user escapes the objective (via 'New Specimen' button) 

  • Updated Current Stage Position indicator colour on multi-position tables to reflect position of Current Stage Position marker on the display.   

  • Immediate visualisation on the panel header when Z Intensity Correction is currently enabled.

Irregular Montage (License Required) 

  • Possible to add irregular montage in Multi-Position protocol 

  • Possible to add irregular montage in Multi-Well protocol 

  • Possible to stitch Multi-Position ( or Multi-Well) irregular montage  

  • Possible to manually add irregular montage on all positions (wells) of the protocol  

  • Possible to clone a local irregular montage to all other positions, for multi-position ( or Multi-Well) irregular montage protocols. 

  • Possible to adjust or delete irregular montage in single positions. 

  • Possible to delete all irregular montages defined for each position/well within the current multi-position protocol. 

  • Added problem notifications to notify the user if all or some positions/wells do not have an irregular montage specified for protocols of type multi-position with Perimeter Montage Mode specified. 

  • Possible to localise and visualise the perimeter of the irregular montage in the field of view, by selecting the respective position in the Multi-Position table

  • Added ability to view position and size of the currently selected position in the Multi-Position table. 

  •  Disabled ‘Import Bounds’ button for Irregular Montage if using Multi-Position Protocol 

  • Added ability to stitch previously stitched montage data that belong to the same dataset

  •  Reset Views ( Image View / zoom settings) in Image Acquisition (selected on Rendering Preference) is defaulted to ON.  

 

Stitching (License Required) 

  • Updated to Imaris Stitcher version 10.2 (current Imaris Stitcher version) 

 

Bugs Fixes:

  • While running a Multi-Position protocol with multi-image display toggled on for the 'At each position run a time series' option, the acquired data is now displayed during the time series acquisition at each position. 

  • Fix for the limitation on the number of tiles that could be displayed at the same time when in multi field view mode. 

  • Fix for collection modified error when changing the protocol state to running from the REST API. 

  • Fix for channel changing to first in protocol when a protocol paused instead of remaining at the active channel. 

  • Fix for protocols taking longer than expected when using both and inner and outer time loop.
